The Tamborine Mountain Show
A fun packed day for the whole family! The Tamborine Mountain A H & I Society Inc. proudly presented the “TAMBORINE MOUNTAIN SHOW” on Sat 17th March 2018. Visitors watched the fantastic Scenic Rim Clydesdale Spectacular weave its big horse magic and checked out the entertainment on the stage and around the grounds. We enjoyed some luscious food and entered the competitions to win fabulous prizes! And there was the Vintage and Exotic Car Rally – all cars got free entry!
This year’s event was held on St Patrick’s Day 17th of March 2018
Next year’s event will be held on the 16th of March 2019
A fantastic day of fun and Irish Mayhem! The Tamborine Mountain Show 2018 had an amazing line up of talent for you to enjoy.
THE MAIN ARENA…
featured the Scenic Rim Clydesdale Spectacular for all day horses, bullocks and even the Light Horse! The Spectacular kept everyone entertained for the whole day.
There was a stunning display of heavy horse, with three different breeds displayed. The Bullocks were ploughing up the arena, and the Light Horse demonstrated their superb skills.
ON THE STAGE…
was a fantastic line up of talent and competitions. With the Tamborine Mountain State High School Band leading the way, we moved into a full program of competitions and entertainment. Don’t forget the Lucky Prize Draw at the end of the Opening Ceremony! Moving into the Night, we settled in for the Round Mountain Girls. Everyone grabbed a drink and some dinner, and enjoyed!
AROUND THE GROUNDS…
the fun continued. The stiltwalkers were back, as were the leprechauns. We checked out the Bunya Nut Festival, and the kids joined in the Bunya Nut games. We had snakes and alpacas, the petting zoo and more. Kirstan Nash was back with her fabulous lanterns, and don’t forget the Lantern Parade. Of course there were the fireworks and this year again we had the fire twirlers. And the night did not end! We stayed on after the fire works for more Round Mountain Girls.
Next year’s show is not to be missed! Family tickets will be $30, singles $12, children and concession $5.
