Artisan Fayre

Artisan Fayre, Art and Craft, Gallery Walk, Showgrounds, Artists, Exhibitions

The “Artisan Fayre” is a growing community event that began as a crazy idea in 2015. It is coordinated by an awesome team of artists that volunteer their time to provide an outlet for artists, of all different mediums to showcase their work on the Mountain.

Last years’ line up included the following awesomely talented entertainers… The day began with Bella A’Capella, colorful vocal vibes, a Welcome to Country with a bit of Leeton’s Didgeridoo and the TMSS Thunderbird Choir. Come and support the kids getting their groove on! Hedi Rose, Duane Williams & Neil MacLeod were pumping out some funky bass and wild woodwind tunes and loops. The mountains own Rock Goddess’s were back again, and you could enjoy Shee Tree around lunchtime, or second breakfast! Funky singer songwriter Felicity Lawless was headlining with a show down at noonish. The afternoon session got your bellies flipping with our Belly Dancing performance as a warm up to the Indian Sitar Group Yatra. Tamborine Mountain Legendary Rock Gods CUD, yep they were playing some fine tunes too! Have you seen Sam Harden lately? Well you were, with his electronic music and beats with chill house and live looping. Can’t Wait? Neither can we. Bring your picnic blanket and get set for a day filled with awesome entertainers in your own back yard!

During the day watch out for our banana munching Gorilla, Sandra’s evolving body paint artistry, a flower bombed gazebo by Studio Rosa and heaps more…

Book yourself in to an arty farty workshop with or without the kids! Learn how to ‘Write and Illustrate a Children’s Book’ with Robin Adolphs and Aaron. Naturally dye silk and wool threads with Wendi Trulson. Erica Bates was hosting Sewing Fabulous Creations and Cindy Wood was weaving baskets with natural fibres and was making gorgeous Festive Flower Garland’s. Check out and like our Facebook page for further details.

The Raffle will again be humongous with prizes from local businesses and every stallholder! Yep so massive it needs a gazebo of it’s own!

Lots of Artists to visit and chat to… with demonstrations on the day including wild welding, glass creations, clay sculpture, painting & more. Sharon McLeod will bring her Fairy Queen Wagon and we have introduced the Healing Arts Alley this year too!

It’s not too late to join us as a stallholder so once again check out our Facebook page for details or email the [email protected] for further info. Looking forward to seeing you there!

This is a growing mountain event for the mountain so get involved, cut the advert out and pop it on your fridge. Start saving your pennies and come and join us on Sunday 18th November. Be sure to keep an umbrella handy and bring a fan as we never know what the weather might be, but we will be there anyway!
