TM Heritage Centre
The “TM Heritage Centre” is dedicated to the preservation and display of the history of Tamborine Mountain. It houses examples of the various industries which have been carried out on the mountain from timber getting to farming. The displays are housed in the Machinery Hall, Dairy, Blacksmith Shop, General Store, Slab Cottage and Pioneer Hall. Open 11am to 3pm Sundays and Public Holidays.
Thunderegg Fossicking @ Thunderbird Park
Unearth a 200 Million year old mystery! “Thunderegg Fossicking @ Thunderbird Park” is a unique activity for the whole family. You can discover your own hidden treasures from prehistoric volcanic lava in the world’s largest Thunderegg Mine! Admission includes a souvenir miner’s permit and the use of a pick and bucket for collecting your treasures.

“Jo’s Ark Trail Rides” at Thunderbird Park lets you experience Australia’s rainforest on horseback. “Jo’s Ark Trail Rides” offers a range of options for adults and children from first-timers to experienced riders. Clip clop along winding trails through the cool green rainforest, tracing the banks along the tumbling creek and climb upwards through majestic ancient gum trees.
Hang Gliders Tamborine Mountain
“Hang Gliders Tamborine Mountain” is one of the most well-known attractions on Tamborine Mountain, a cleared patch on the Western escarpment, easily accessible via Main Western Road. On days with the right weather conditions visitors can watch hang gliders and para gliders taking off! This is a beautiful spectacle to watch for young and old.
