Escape the busyness of everyday life with a relaxing retreat into the heart of North Tamborine – stay a while at “The Beacon on Tamborine Tourist Park” . Great for kids, perfect for families our beautiful camp grounds are hidden away in serene bush land with views of the Tamborine National Park.

Our innovative self-registration allows you to check in late or check out early if required. The camp grounds are child friendly with lots of room to play and explore while you sit back and enjoy the view.

Amenities Block

The camp ground has a full amenities block with showers, toilets and laundry facilities. There are wood fire BBQ’s and picnic tables for those wanting to enjoy eating “out” in the Great Outdoors. Our camp grounds are motor home friendly and have 19 powered and 51 un-powered sites.

There are many bush walks surrounding the campsite and the opportunity to enjoy the view from the lookout a leisurely 5 minutes stroll down the road.  Shops and all major tourist attractions are a short 8 minute drive away.  The Tamborine Mountain plateau is home to some of the best restaurants in South East Queensland.

Facilities on site include: Wireless Internet, Laundry, BBQs and Picnic Tables, Toilets and Showers, Bushwalks, Basketball Hoop and large grassed Play Area.
