The “Main Street” shopping precinct in North Tamborine offers all essential services such as a butcher, two green grocers, a newsagent, bakery, hardware store, post office, supermarket and the like, as well as a number of coffee shops, a health food store, pizzerias and real estate agents, to mention just a few. Recently, the shopping precinct just off Main Street has been a hive of activity, with a new shopping centre being built (as at May 2012) as well as many refurbishments within the retail area around the “Beacon Road / Main Western Road” “T” junction.
Whilst “Main Street” is often referred to as “local shopping”, it has, over the past few years, also gained strong support from the many visitors coming to Tamborine Mountain every year!
